We are SUWAOSU Ayurveda
Our journey began on April 20th, 1998, when our founder, Mr. Samantha Lokubalasuriya, and his wife, Mrs. Imalka Chrishmally Lanza, set out with the mission of bringing the healing power of Ayurveda to Sri Lankans.
Starting in Dankotuwa, Sri Lanka, under the brand name "Suwasetha," we began manufacturing Ayurvedic herbal medicines. As trust in our products grew, we expanded into herbal oils, tooth powders, and introduced “Sirasananda Thailum,” a product that became a household name for treating common colds.
By 2008, we introduced "Suwaosu Pawatta Thal Sukiri," a 100% natural cough syrup, gaining popularity for treating respiratory diseases. In 2012, "Suwaosu Ayurveda" was founded under the LBS Group, expanding further into products like Suwaosu Walmee Syrup and Suwaosu Wedana Suwaya for pain relief.
Today, our 70,000-square-foot facility in Dankotuwa continues to heal Sri Lanka. We aim to share the benefits of Sri Lankan Ayurvedic healing with the world.
